'65 Chevy in the Back Pasture

Stopped under a tree looking at the neighboring pastures. This is a very nice area in the back pasture. Would be a great place for a picnic!

The same location as the picture above, but facing the truck - and our pasture.

Same location as the other pictures... doesn't the truck look small here?

Moving The '61 Chevy Apache 10

Moving the 1961 Chevrolet Apache 10 with the '65 C20 in the way!

Two great trucks... my 1961 Chevrolet Apache 10 and Brian Mallard's 1965 Chevrolet C20. (Of course mine is the coolest!!)

My truck! The first non-sad picture I have taken of it!

First trip down the dirt road in the '65.

Brian (or is that Indy) is our tour guide down the dirt road!

Out the windshield...

View from the back glass... that truck kicked up a lot of dust! This picture is not a good example of how much. (Trust me, I drove behind him on the way back!)

The truck and the car.

Ah! Stopped at the bridge. The Byne hang out of the late-early to mid '90's.

Taking a ride in the Back Pasture!

It has been a few days since my last post, and some of you may have been wondering what I have been up to. Well, here is an example.

Billie and Brian and the truck in the back pasture.

Brian driving like a maniac through the back pasture... oh wait... it was me that was driving like a maniac, just not in this picture!

The aftermath. (All the hay on the radiator.)

Brian Mallard's 1965 Chevrolet C20 Details

A local truck - it still has the 43 year old Bill Heard emblem!

I love it - even the horn button is made of metal!

The cool gauges! It was originally a three-on-the-tree as is evidenced by the cut off shifter.

A Chevy C20, in other words a big, heavy, tough - and slow truck!

A Ride In The '65 Chevy

Brian Mallard’s 1965 Chevrolet C20

This is Brian Mallard’s new old truck. It’s a 1965 Chevrolet C20, and I love it – oh yeah, so does Brian! Being of Byne nature (and Walter Mallard influenced) I had to document the truck on the first day (or rather night) – but not before a quick ride around the back pasture!

Yep. Only one headlight works… for now!

Brian parks the truck for the night.

A pleased Brian starts the truck. There is an alternate version of this photograph in Black and White. This photo was lit only by the truck’s cab light, and is a 1/10th of a second handheld exposure!

The dashboard and steering wheel – which is nearly as big around as one of the truck’s tires!
