Old Country Road

An old country road in Sumter County, Georgia.

The flower that shattered the stone... well, not quite. Plants growing up through the cracks in the pavement.

Country Road

A country road in Lumpkin, Georgia - just outside of Westville. Under exposed intentionally to detail the clouds.

Mountain Farm

In the middle of Sevierville, Tennessee there was this Sumter County, Georgia style farm land with a couple of old houses and barns! Pretty cool to be in the middle of a city and literally right down from our hotel/condo!

Lonely Country Road

A lonely Georgia country paved road on a dreary day. In black and white. The ‘color’ of the road compliments the ‘color’ of the clouds.

The Photographer and The Equipment

Okay, before I go too far into this photography blog, I thought I should do some form of introduction.
And how better to do an introduction on a photography blog, than with photographs?

This is me – as photographed by Walter B. Mallard Jr. Of course this is also my profile photo on here, so you’ve probably already seen it. However, this is the most popular photograph of me, so it’s my favorite to use!

This is my camera – my Canon EOS 20D. The extremely talented Walter Mallard also took this photo. Lovely, isn’t it?

Well, in my way of thinking that just about sums it up. Any questions?
