The old house above is located in Taylor County, Georgia, and, no, that’s not a trick of the eye – both the house and the tree are leaning in the same direction! I have driven past this house many times wishing to photograph it, and one day while passing by it I noticed it was leaning a lot more than usual. So, Walter Mallard and I went to photograph it before it was gone. This photo is from the same day as the “cows in the rain” shots, and if you look closely you can see them in the distance. While photographing the house we met the owner, who gave us a history. The house in the photo below is in much better condition, and located in Marion County, Georgia.Welcome. This blog was originally intended to showcase my photography. It still will. However, it will also expand to my other many interests. I may write about fly fishing. My 1982 Jeep Wagoneer. Or even my cigars. I hope that you enjoy and be sure to visit often.
